Short Biography

Patrick Kapita Mvemba received the master’s degree in electronics engineering from the ISTA University, Congo, in 2008. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematics with the University of Siena, Italy, working in the field of measurements and instrumentation. His current research interests include the design of measurement systems for the analysis of biological fluids, such as blood. This activity emphasizes the realization and characterization of nano-chips for EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) and CV (Cyclic Voltammetry) measurements to end-up to an electrochemical biosensor for oxidative stress detection in blood. He is an Assistant Professor with ISTA University.
